The Pasadena Master Chorale is an auditioned chorus dedicated to excellent choral singing. PMC welcomes singers of all backgrounds. We actively seek to assemble a group of excellent singers that reflects our greater community — diverse in race, ethnicity, gender identity, belief, sexual orientation, age, and physical ability. We are looking for singers who love being in choirs and the challenge of making choral music well, who are skilled and expressive musicians, and who enjoy blending in an ensemble and singing non-soloistically (although PMC members are regularly selected as soloists).

Our chorus rehearses Monday evenings during the season and one Saturday per month. Singers pay modest annual dues, but all qualified singers will be invited to join PMC regardless of their ability to pay.

We have a two-part audition process. The first part is an online submission, the second is a live quartet audition after attending a PMC rehearsal. We created this process to encourage excellent singers who may not be comfortable singing alone at an audition, or may not have access to rehearsal accompanists, to participate in the audition process.
